Mia Zacharias is a ceramics major at GSU. She uses wheel throwing and mold-making to create traditional ceramics, namely plates, teacups, and teapots. She plans on filling galleries with her plates to try and convey as much emotion as possible through a fragile medium. She likes exploring new things with her art to express herself more, such as learning to weld and different ways to fire her ceramics. Mia is also a big fan of Star Trek, pirates, and singing. In her spare time, she enjoys antiquing and restoring old furniture.
